Return Policy




All our HID / LED PRODUCTS are covered under a one year warranty as well as a 45 day full refund/exchange policy. If you are not satisfied with your kit or if it does not fit, simply return the kit to us within 45 days for a full refund or exchange.



Once we receive your return package, please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to be processed. If you cancel your order after it is placed, please allow 2-3 business days to see the full refund credited back to your account. Credit may take some time based on bank institution and billing cycle. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account. Your refund will be processed based on your original payment method.



If your product becomes defective within forty-five (45) days of the invoice date, you may return it for an exchange only. All non-defective exchanges are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Before returning any item, you must contact our returns department within sixty days of your invoice and we will provide you with return procedures and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), good for 12 days from the day of issue. Defective items may be returned for a same-item exchange only.



In order to process the exchange, your purchase must be returned with shipping prepaid. All items must be in "as-new" condition, in original packaging and with all warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. Any discrepancies could result in a delay or partial forfeiture of your credit. All non-defective returns for credit or exchange are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and must be completed within 45 days of the invoice date. All non-defective exchanges are subject to a $15 processing fee, and must be completed within 30 days of the invoice date. For all light products, please test them for factory defects prior to installation. Once an attempt of installation has been made, light products are not exchangeable unless the items become defective. No cancellation, refund, or exchanges on special order items.



HIDeXtra is not liable if you order the wrong product. We provide technical specification information so that you can make an educated buying decision. For any shipment that is refused, you will automatically be charged $10.00 or 10%, whichever is greater. For Canadian orders we will charge 30% of the invoice price plus all shipping and duty we paid for the return product(s) to cover costs associated with processing your order and return. Shipping costs are not refundable. We will issue an exchange item for the product if your exchange meets these guidelines. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances where the return is a result of our error.


If your product has been damaged during shipping, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Please call us immediately at (860) 821-8212.



Unfortunately we cannot provide free shipping labels for returns. Customer is responsible for the freight on merchandise being returned to HIDeXtra.   





Items must be returned to HIDeXtra unused AND unopened within 30 days for a refund or exchange. A Return Merchandise Authorization form (RMA) must be requested from HIDeXtra. Customer is responsible to fill out the RMA form and mark the RMA# on the outside of the shipping box for product returns. If the return reason is not valid or not as described, no credit will be issued and applied. All non-defective/opened will be assessed a 20% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for the freight on merchandise being returned to HIDeXtra.



Items are offered 90 days DOA warranty from the invoice date. Replacement product must be reordered as a new order with a new order number and will include freight and handling charges.



Non-defective product will only be accepted in resellable condition with all original packaging (unopened). Non-defective product will be credited at original invoice price less freight and handling charges and a restocking fee of 20% upon receipt of the return and item examination by HIDeXtra. Merchandise will not be credited if HIDeXtra finds it not in resellable condition.



Defective merchandise including shipping fees will be credited upon receipt of merchandise and item examination at HIDeXtra. Merchandise will not be credited if HIDeXtra does not find it defective. Defective merchandise must be returned within 30 days from the invoice date, and customer will be responsible for the freight of the returned merchandise. 



Special orders or closeouts are not eligible for return. There may also be other items that HIDeXtra will not allow customer to return.
