HIDextra Return and Warranty Policies

HIDextra offers a 45 Day “No-Risk” buying experience*. Simply put, you may return any HIDextra purchase (Excluding headlight, taillight and fog light assemblies, for any reason, no questions asked for a full refund and on top of that, we will cover the return shipping cost.

*45 Days is determined by the original purchase date and the “Date of Delivery” of the authorized return shipment.


HIDextra.com's Warranty Coverage is provided to the customer as a part of the purchase price. It covers only the product purchased against manufacturer defects or failures. It does not cover the vehicle intro which the product is being installed and under no circumstances will HIDextra.com cover any costs related to the following:


  • Installation or labor costs involved with the initial install or removal of any HIDextra.com product
  • Any damages accidental or otherwise that might arise directly or indirectly due to the installation, operation or use of any HIDextra.com product
  • Any return packaging or packing costs related to the need to return a HIDextra.com product; unless, otherwise agreed upon by a HIDextra.com agent


Return for Refund “Step by Step”

Please contact us at info@hidextra.com to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)

  • Be sure to include your HIDextra Order # or send the message using the e-mail associated with your store account.
  • All returns will require an RMA in order to be processed. Return shipments that do not have an RMA # written on the package or included within the shipment will be delayed.
  • Upon receipt of a return shipment, HIDextra asks that you allow 2-3 business days for the return to be processed.
  • Once processed a refund will be initiated and thereafter a refund can be expected to post to the original payment method within 3-5 business days.
  • Please note; refunds generally post quicker for Paypal payments. While credit cards tend to be the slowest method in terms of credit processing.


24 Month Part & Exchange Warranty


  • All HIDextra Exclusive* Products; Except HIDextra LED Light Bars
  • Part Warranty-HIDextra at its discretion and only upon proper troubleshooting will replace any component(s) that are deemed defective or have failed at no cost provided that component is available to ship and usually without asking for the original component(s) being returned to us.
  • If the product has failed completely, troubleshooting is not possible, at our discretion or by customer request the “No-Risk” return for refund; if eligible or Warranty Exchange programs can also be utilized in place of the part warranty as described above. 


Extended Warranty (Up To 48 Months)

  • In additional to the amazing HIDextra 2 year warranty on our products* customers are able to purchase an extended warranty for a total of 4 years of coverage. Improper installation of a product will void all warranties. Any modifications to the system components or wiring will void all warranties.


Exchange Procedure

  • HIDextra offers a 24-month exchange warranty for purchases of HIDextra exclusive products* within or outside the aforementioned “No-Risk” 45 day return policy for the same product only.
  • For the first 12 months of the warranty, HIDextra will provide a pre-paid return shipping label and will also cover the new shipping costs. Please note that HIDextra does not reimburse out-of-pocket return shipping costs that our customer may elect to pay on their own related to shipping or packaging. If you do not receive a pre-paid return label, please contact us at info@hidextra.com and we will be glad to provide it to you.
  • For the last 12 months of the 24 month warranty, HIDextra asks that the customer covers the return shipping and in return HIDextra will cover the shipping costs associated with the brand new exchange item.

  • Be sure to include your order #, vehicle year, make and model as well as details regarding the current status of your HIDextra product.
  • In general, we do not accommodate requests for exchange of return items for a different product; unless such an agreement has been made prior to the return being authorized.

90 Day HIDextra LED Light Bar Warranty

  • All HIDextra LED Light Bars are covered by an unlimited 90 day warranty that covers:
  • Defects in regards to craftsmanship, build, materials or internal component failures.


12 Month HIDextra LED Light Bar (LED Diode) Warranty

  • All HIDextra LED Light Bars are covered by an limited 12 Month warranty that covers:
  • Defects or failures of individual LED diodes only.
